My Findings:

• Issues with physical intimacy

• Increased sexual objectification of strangers

• Increased view of women as sexual objects (hostile sexism)

• Porn reduces relationship commitment

• Difficulty with attention

• Physically more aggressive towards their partner

• Erectile dysfunction

• Less satisfaction with partner’s sexual performance, sexual curiosity, physical appearance, and affection

• Sexual satisfaction lowered

• Partner’s don’t fulfill an ideal shown in porn (partner doesn’t “measure up”)

My Project:

I created a poster to hang in the Broadway 5th floor lobby, displaying a pornstar seen on popular porn websites such as Pornhub. My poster shows the short term and long term outcomes of masturbating and consuming porn as well as the negative effects viewing porn can have on an individual and couple.

Conclusion:

I believe that my poster was successful an accomplished my goal of catching the attention of viewers and educating them about the affects porn has.
